About Edition Kröthenhayn

MONITORPOP launches a new DVD label: EDITION KRÖTHENHAYN. Highquality handnumbered editions featuring contemporary art from the various branches of actionism / performance and visual art / art film. Bonus features like interviews and documentaries portray the artists / actions and reveal context and intentions. The packaging consists of a slip lid box with banderole, containing a DVD plus booklet or book with photos and texts.

The first release scheduled for June 2006: DIE TÖDLICHE DORIS - Gehörlose Musik.

For autumn 2006 releases on the Viennese Actionism and its main advocates Hermann Nitsch, Günter Brus, Otto Muehl and Rudolf Schwarzkogler are planned.
